Mike was awesome and the food was to die for. Best BBQ I've had in Arizona. It was a perfect date for the afternoon! Would definitely recommend !

My husband and I enjoyed outdoor BBQ experience. Mike did an awesome job, very informative. I only wish he talk a little bit more on about gas and electric grill like taeger, as I don’t use charcoal anymore. I will still recommend it to a friend.

Mick was very knowledgeable about different types of BBQ. We learned about smokers, char-grilling, and even how to make a pizza on a kamado. During the class, after each demonstration, we got to eat all the wonderful food that he prepared.

We had such a great experience learning about BBQ with Mick! He was super friendly and we learned so much! We seriously loved the relaxed atmosphere as well. Not to mention...the food was great!

I had hoped that it would be more hands-on, however, due to the variety of food covered, that wasn't feasible. Mike does an amazing job covering BBQ meats, grills, and pizza!

Mike was a great host and teacher, learned so much on the technique of using charcoal. Didn't think i would ever give up my gas webber, might just be in my future!

I bought this Groupon for my boyfriend for Christmas. He loved it! He made some amazing things on the grill and got some great tips. He has been creating some great on the grill meals since then. I would highly recommend it.

I got this as a gift from my wife. It was an awesome class.  Mick was great at explaining things from charcoal and wood to what each type of grill or smoker works best for this and that.  It's obvious that he's been around the biz for quite some time.  If you fancy BBQ and want to get better at it, you should come to this class.  Come hungry, you will get to eat a lot as well.

I got a class for 2 for Dave at Christmas. This place is amazing. We got pulled pork, pork ribs, a whole chicken and pizza. Ours was a class of 5. Usually they’re about 10 to 12. Everything was delicious and we learned the details that will make a difference in our next attempt at bbq. He also does parties. You bring the party and he bbqs for your guests. Good time and good instruction. Lots of different grills to learn how to do different things.

A delicious way to learn more about BBQ. Mick demonstrates how to prepare several dishes while he shares his BBQ knowledge. He is welcoming and open to questions. This is a tasty, relaxed class. Perfect for a Sunday afternoon. Two thumbs up!

We were looking for a fun activity and a cooking class. We made the right choice. It was a great afternoon filled with delicious food and a lot of great information. I am an experienced cook but haven’t had a lot of time around the grill. I wanted to be comfortable when I asked friends over for dinner. Mike is a wealth of bbq information. He makes you feel very comfortable, uses several different types of grills, even gives you a handout when you leave class. I would highly recommend Mike’s Barbecue Masterclass for an individual or for a group.

I learned about Cave Creek BBQ School from the concierge at our hotel. We were looking for an activity for eight of us on our last day in Phoenix, and she recommended this, as we were largely "foodies." What a great suggestion! The 'school' is actually on a shady residential acre in Cave Creek, so it felt like we were in a friends backyard. They allow and encourage guests to bring their own favorite barbecue beverages, including wine and beer so it was a festive atmosphere and Mick added the class just for us, so it was like a private lesson! All the food was exceptional,..two types of ribs, pulled pork,chicken, tri tip..even grilled veggies. While I had my doubts when we arrived, we all agreed it was fun, educational and delicious way to spend an afternoon.
